3 Reasons to start your own newsletter.

I started my newsletter for one main reason, but after writing it for 2 weeks I found 2 other good reasons so I thought I'd share them with you.

To provide some context: I send out frameworks, tools, and tactics to help founders become more successful: 1% Founder

Reason #1. I was consuming a lot more information than creating which didn't feel right. The problem is: I am short on time to create. So that's why I started a newsletter in which I curate content. Why? Curating doesn't take nearly as much time but it's still creating in some way. The frameworks, tools, and tactics I find online I repurpose to fit in a newsletter format.

Reason #2. A newsletter is an awesome way to have your network think about you daily or weekly (depending on how often you send out your newsletter). I came in contact with a lot more people since I started it.

Reason #3. Finally, the third reason is that it's helping me to learn more about the frameworks, tools, and tactics that I share. Writing about them helps me to think more deeply about their relevance and significance. I have to assess whether they're interesting enough to share in the newsletter, and then I have to write about them in detail.
