This is my honest story.
The Problem I Noticed
Millions of Indians search for Kundli (Vedic birth chart) every single day. The existing platforms felt stuck in 2005 — slow, ugly, and completely ignoring AI.
I asked myself: what if someone could get a deeply personalized Kundli reading in 30 seconds, for free, in Hindi?
That was the spark for KundliAI — India's first AI-powered Vedic astrology platform.
The Build — Solo, Zero Funding
No co-founder. No investors. No team. Just me and VS Code.
Stack I chose:
Next.js + TypeScript + Tailwind
Groq API (Llama) for AI responses
AstrologyAPI.com for real Vedic calculations
Vercel for deployment
Razorpay for payments
First version took 3 days. It was rough but it worked.
The Hardest Part — Making It Feel Indian
Most AI tools feel cold and Western. I wanted KundliAI to feel like talking to a trusted Pandit — warm, personal, in Hindi.
So I built full bilingual support. Every prompt, every response, every UI element works in Hindi and English. Users switch with one click.
This was technically complex but emotionally important. India is Hindi-first. Our product had to be too.
Growth — What Actually Worked
Zero paid marketing. Everything organic.
What moved the needle:
10,000+ Kundlis generated
2,000+ Google impressions (28 days)
55-65 daily active users
47 SEO blogs published
28+ backlinks built
First revenue: ₹99 ✅

Google sitemap: 8 → 55 pages (fixed today!)
What I Learned
Three things that actually moved the needle for an Indian market product:
Language is everything — Hindi content gets 3x more engagement than English for our niche. Always.
Ship ugly, iterate fast — My first version looked terrible. I shipped anyway. Real users give better feedback than imagined users.
Niche down hard — "AI astrology for India in Hindi" is 100x better than "AI astrology." The more specific, the faster you grow.

This is a strong example of narrowing the market properly. “AI astrology” is broad and easy to ignore, but “Hindi-first Kundli for Indian users in 30 seconds” is much sharper. The traction makes sense because you are matching the language, emotion, and cultural context instead of just adding AI on top of astrology.
The part I’d pressure-test early is the brand frame. KundliAI is clear for search, but it may also keep the product feeling like a functional AI tool rather than a trusted spiritual/personal guidance brand. That distinction matters if you want users to come back, pay, share with family, or trust it beyond a free chart.
The bigger opportunity is not only “generate Kundli fast.” It is a warm, Hindi-first personal guidance platform around astrology, life questions, timing, relationships, career, and daily decisions.
Zenvarya .com would fit that broader direction better because it feels more premium, calm, and guidance-oriented while still leaving room beyond Kundli alone. The current name is good for SEO, but if this grows into a real consumer brand, the brand should feel like something people trust emotionally, not just something they search once.
Since you already have users, first revenue, and trademark momentum, this is probably the right moment to decide whether KundliAI is just the search entry point or the long-term brand people remember.
