πŸš€ 30 days --> 118 Subscribers (THH Newsletter)

Hi Indiehackers!

I wanted to share with you the results of my first 30 days of writing The Hybrid Hacker newsletter.

The first thing I understood when I started writing, is that growing your newsletter audience requires a lot of effort. But that's fine, the main reason why I decided to write was to collect my notes and give them back to the community. In the future, depending on the growth, I will see if it makes sense to monetize with it or not, but for now that's not my priority.

How I grew it until now?

Well, as you may see from the graph, I started with sharing it on the social networks (mainly Linkedin) where I've some followers. Then the growth became pretty flat (also if constant), until one morning when I decided to launch on ProductHunt.

I see many people here so stressed by PH launches...well I did everything in literally 5 minutes. Created the product, added the description and couple of screenshots. I also added a claim saying that I was on PH on my newsletter issue that was going out and: boom, live!
Probably I was lucky, or maybe some people appreciate what I write, long story short I got 60 upvotes and as you can see that more than doubled my user base! I was so excited!

Now the growth is flat again, but I didn't publish anything yet (PH launch was last week and next issue will be this Thu). I really hope that new subscribers will help with sharing my posts!

I'd like to share everything here in public, so do expect another post in 30 days!

Do you have any suggestion on next steps to grow my base?
