30 free marketing tools that you probably heard of but haven't tried

Edit:
I'm not familiar with most of the tools below. As a general rule of thumb, I don't like tools that are "all-in-one" or "everything you need to succeed".

Hubspot is my go-to source of truth for all things marketing. All other tools integrate into that.

I prefer tools that solve a very specific problem.

  • I cant get good voice of customer research. I can use Gong for that.

  • I need an email sequence tool. I can use Apollo for that.

  • I need to improve conversions on my website. I can use Winware for that.

The best tools imo are the ones that are amazing at solving one problem. The all-in-ones, at least in my experience, can do everything alright but not as well as a dedicated tool.

Let's face it, marketing tools can be expensive and you need not one but many for your day-to-day tasks, and long-term projects.

Here are 30 free marketing tools that cost you nothing!

Miro

With the rise of remote work, it has become essential to have online collaboration tools in your team. Miro is an online collaborative whiteboard platform to connect and collaborate with your colleagues. It has integration with Zoom as well so you can draw and show as you are talking.

People really sleep on MS Clarity. It's one of the best tools you can use to understand your users.

    1. 2

It's soooo good to see other people who know about it. sometimes I suggest it to a client who is using heap or hotjar and they think I am crazy. OFTEN, they are PAYING heap or hotjar for functionality that is completely free and unlimited on clarity.

Say what you will about microsoft, but clarity is in the top 10 free tools offered by a tech giant.

Hey o-dan, thanks for sharing such a comprehensive list of free marketing tools! It’s great to see someone putting together resources that cater to a variety of needs without the price tag. I particularly like how you've highlighted tools for specific tasks like Hemingwayapp for writing and Ubersuggest for SEO, which really shows the value of specialized tools over all-in-one solutions. One tool you might add is Google Trends; it’s perfect for spotting real-time trends to capitalize on for content and marketing strategies. Can’t wait to try some of these out. Keep up the great work! 🛠️
