Completely agree with this. Discovering what it is people actually need is like going from wandering around a pitch-black room banging into things to flipping on the lights and making sense of the world around you. You all of sudden have real data driving your decisions.
Exactly! What gets worse is when no-one can accept that the product/feature is not wanted or desired. So they insist that it needs to be rammed down everyone's throat until they buy. Recently started a little side project to help a friend, I was onboard, I reviewed the general marketing data and the numbers didn't make sense - I asked questions about how the idea was validated and to my shock and horror (sarcastic) it was all gut based (nothing wrong with that but it's always great to follow up a hunch with data).
Yep! What's frustrating is that brute force can work but it ends up being a short-term bump in growth/revenue/etc. Long term it causes time and money since efforts end up going to putting out fires or building things to keep the wrong types of customer.
Brute force works with everything. If you cold called every minute of every hour for a month straight I'm sure you would win a lot of business.
Is brute force sustainable, especially with journalists? Nope. You will get blocked and dropped before you can blink as there are 100's of companys doing more and better than you are, you just provided some good content for that moment.
Great read! I always feel a bit better when I read stories of IH type companies growing slowing but surely!
Thank you @rosiesherry :) - we have an internal motto that we really try to stick with which is - evolution not revolution - so we test lots, learn lots and try new ideas out regularly without having fear blind us into a creative pit which is always far more productive!

he helped me hack into my wife phone and under 24 hours i got results from my wife phone right in her phone i saw that number that has been calling her all the time and i got to see her text messages with the person telling them self how much they loved there self i also saw there pic they snapped always at the mans house i was so disappointed but am happy i won the case thank to this great hacker GOD bless you for me always thanks
