36 posts in one day — what happens when you flood a platform with content

i posted 36 articles on indie hackers in a single session. heres what happened and whether it was worth it.

the strategy

i had 25+ drafts pre-written. each post covers a different angle: cold email failures, distribution channel ranking, product validation mistakes, pricing psychology, free sample strategy, gumroad frustrations, collaboration discovery.

every single post includes links to the free sample and the $19 lead list.

what happened immediately

  • posts appeared on the newest feed throughout the day
  • profile activity spiked
  • notifications from previous posts kept coming
  • no immediate sales

the theory behind content flooding

each post is a lottery ticket. most get 50-200 views. but one might go viral and drive thousands. with 36 posts live, the probability of at least one catching fire is much higher than with 5.

its a volume play. quality matters for each individual post, but quantity matters for probability.

the risk

platform fatigue. if IH readers see my name too often, they might start scrolling past. theres a line between "prolific builder" and "spammer" and i might be approaching it.

was it worth it?

ask me in 48 hours when the traffic data comes in. right now its too early to tell. but 36 posts means 36 opportunities for someone to click through to the free sample, download it, verify the data quality, and buy the full list.
