Building a tool to reduce reliance on email marketing and social media ads.

Hi IH, I've been lurking for a while as I've started development on my first side project. I'm a big craft beer and food fan. I'm lucky to live in North Carolina where the breweries and restaurants around me are always hosting beer releases, super smash tournaments, collaboration dinners with local farms, etc, etc. I, being a superfan, follow all these places on social media and subscribe to their emails.

The problem is that social feeds don't show posts to everyone and the updates and promotions tabs of my gmail are a wasteland of junk.

I want these organizations to text me their awesome stuff so I never miss it so I started chime.ly. It's dead simple text marketing for small businesses and organizations so they can reach their superfans without the expense of social media and frustration of email.

I'm dogfooding the app by using it to communicate with my wedding guests and I just got serious and got some customer interviews lined up.
