It’s been a while since I’ve shared any updates on designfly.io, and I’m proud to announce I’ve achieved $39.9k in only 6 months!
Here’s a quick breakdown of what’s worked, what hasn’t, and what I’m going to try next.
May: $0
Launched designfly.io with rates at $3,700-$4,900, booked 3 demos, but struggled to close any deals.
June: $6.2k
Lowered pricing to $1,000-$2,000, closed 4 deals and brought in $6,200. Also launched roasti.co.
July: $6k
Streamlined operations, and closed another $6,000 in sales.
August: $6.5k
Focused on revamping the website and portfolio. Interviewed on IndieHackers.
September: $9k
Launched the revamped website, resulting in 5 demos and 3 new clients.
October: $8.7k
Added a Pro tier, raised rates to $2,500-$6,000, and started doing cold outreach.
November: $3.5k
More cold outreach, but no demos scheduled. Closed 1 deal from old lead.
December: TBD
Lowered pricing to a more competitive rate of $1,750 - $3,800 resulting in 2 new clients so far.

Didn't focus on key acquisition channels
Lowered pricing to $1,750-$3,800, bringing in 2 new clients (so far)
Gradually increase prices by $250-$500
