39 signups, 0 active users. Here's what changed in 5 days.

Last week I posted about Clustea having 39 signups and zero active users. Here's what happened since.
What we fixed
The onboarding was the core problem. Users landed on a blank dashboard with no direction. We rebuilt it entirely:

Post-signup redirect goes straight to keyword analysis
First article is 3 clicks away
Getting started checklist added

We also fixed 5 critical bugs in the article generation pipeline that were silently breaking things in production — truncated articles, broken internal links, meta tags never saved to WordPress, markdown tables rendering as raw pipes.
Then we upgraded the entire pipeline. Articles now scrape the actual content of the top 5 ranking pages (not just their titles), generate a content brief with mandatory concepts, gaps, and differentiators, run web search live for real stats with real URLs, and go through a 3-pass pipeline: outline → draft → quality check with 11 deterministic criteria.
The first real signals

Google Ads: CTR jumped from 9% to 16.67% after switching to exact match and fixing geo targeting
First tracked conversion: 5 conversions at €5.23 each
40th signup today — created a project and generated an article. First active user ever.
Nadezda (who offered a free onboarding audit weeks ago) just replied — sending her Starter access now
Aryan (positioning consultant from IH) sent a follow-up — moving forward with his analysis
Pricing dropped from $49 to $29 to close the gap with Harbor SEO

What's still not perfect
Harbor SEO offers more features at a lower price. The gap is real. We added featured image generation and fixed the pipeline, but there's more to do.
Where we are
40 signups. 1 active user. First article generated. Pipeline that actually works.
It's not much. But 5 days ago it was 0. Progress is progress.
What's the one thing that moved the needle most for your first activation?
