The program of the third day consisted of a speech by Alexander Ambalov on the topic “How to get 50,000 subscribers using carousels and Reels”. After that Olga Polishchuk spoke with the topic “How can a digital-blogger find work-life balance and not burn out”.
Both performances were very cool and helpful.
I will make a brief summary of them 😎
Alexander's speech
Why do carousels work?
👉 Instagram promotes posts that look longer.
👉 Instagram is promoting all its new features.
👉 The carousel has a structure according to the AIDA model:
Attention - catchy headline and picture on the first slide, grab attention.
Interest - we give out information that arouses the interest of the audience.
Desire - from the key point, we try to keep the user, not overload him, be on the verge of jokes.
Action - at the end there is a Call-to-action or call to action. For example, watch a video on YouTube or let you know if the post was helpful.
4 rules of a good carousel:
Alexander's observations on Reels.
👉 Some people start watching Reels instead of Stories and posts.
👉 The Reels algorithm is built in such a way that you are shown mainly those to whom you are not subscribed.
Olga's speech
What drives a digital specialist or blogger to burnout?
👉 Constant generation of content - the need to create it, even if there are no ideas, strength, inspiration ("must" instead of "want").
👉 Routine / monotony of processes within the blog.
👉 Pressure of obsessive thoughts “I can't stop, I have to invent, shoot, sell, warm”. And if you stop, then views, reach, likes will drop, everyone will unsubscribe from me.
👉 Fear of not meeting the expectations of the audience, not getting into the request, being rejected, mistrust of the audience “you were better before”.
👉 No visible or expected growth / outcome.
👉 Comparing yourself to others.
👉 "Always online" - living with a phone in hand, dopamine addiction, multitasking.
👉 Public visibility of errors.
👉 Hold the mask, maintain the image "I have to fit this personal brand."
👉 Negative comments, critical feedback.
👉 Combining blogging with other activities and social roles.
What if you feel exhausted?
👉 Digital detox - no gadget in sight from several hours to several days.
👉 Abandonment of multitasking. One action, then the next action.
👉 Digital hygiene before watching the feed (you need to decide why, and for how long you go to social networks).
👉 Improved meta-skills of attention and state management. Shift of attention, concentration, relaxation, meditation.
If you feel really bad, what should you do?
👉 Pause in activity.
👉 Minimum of gadgets / for a week without communication.
👉 Restriction of social networks (delete them from the phone, log out).
👉 Rest, restoring the nervous system.
👉 Regular psychotherapy.
👉 Body-oriented practices and feasible sports.
👉 Walking / cycling.
