Point #4 (automate failed payment recovery) is the one most founders skip until it's too late.
From what I've seen: Stripe's built-in retries work okay for hard failures, but the real money is in reaching the customer before they cancel — which Stripe doesn't do by default.
The best-performing pattern is a 3-email sequence at Day 1 / Day 3 / Day 7 after a payment failure. Day 1 is informational ("your card didn't go through"), Day 3 adds urgency ("you'll lose access soon"), Day 7 is the final ask. Recovery rates typically sit between 30-60% of failed invoices depending on your price point and customer segment.
I built RecoverKit specifically for this — it connects via Stripe OAuth and fires this sequence automatically, no code needed. Currently in beta (free for first 20 users): https://recoverkit-frontend.pages.dev/connect
Anyone here running this sequence manually or using Stunning/ProfitWell Retain? Curious what recovery rates you're seeing.

Great ideas!
Increase pricing is a good way. Most people based pricing on the cost, or how much money they need.
The real way of to price is based on how useful the product is and how much people willing to pay. And not just people just few people who really need the product.
Serving a lot of people is waste of time and energy. Its better to charge more remove all regular casual user and focus on people that need the product. That way you loyal customer get more out of you and your effort will be more focused.
