400$ MRR in 70 days at 16 🚀

Hey everyone! How's it going?

Today I decide to share another story about my journey with my startup Affistash - Affiliate marketing powered by AI.

Since I reached a new milestone in MRR, I decided to write a short post where I will share things I think I did right, but also some things that I think I did wrong, so I hope you enjoy and if you have any tips or feedback, I am looking forward to it : )

📍After 70 days of Affistash here are the stats that I managed to achieve:

⭐Marketers: 948
💼Companies: 9

I am content with my current results, but there is always room for a lot of improvement. Anyway, here are some things that I think I did good:

1. Using live demos to close deals: Since my startup operates B2B, but also B2C, I always liked to do meetings with the companies that wanted to use Affistash to grow their affiliate/partnership programs, I feel like the communication is way smoother, and statistically it worked better for me, than just a simple application form.

2. Finding mentors: In the last few weeks I have been on a mission to find people in the SaaS world that I can follow and talk to. I always felt like I was lacking in that aspect, but fortunately, lately I had the chance to speak to lots of other experienced founders that helped me with tips and suggestions :)

3. Posting a lot on Indiehackers, Reddit, Twitter, PH: Being consistent on these platforms helped me reach lots of business owners that were happy to try my product and get their company listed. Most of them were happy with the results, a couple of them decided to leave, but I am aware that partnership programs don't work for any type of business.

I am looking to grow Affistash to $2k MRR by June, so I have a few things that I am looking to improve to reach that goal:

1. Start doing some outbound marketing

2. Implement tools feature for marketers and business owners, something that many of our users requested

3. Looking for some accelerators and incubators - I think that would be a game changer for my SaaS, so I started to search for some fundraising since I started seeing consistency in the revenue growth
