"What's your Collections now?" isn't very clear to me. What kind of collections? I would be more explicit about the types of things you want people to share.

Sometimes the narrower the focus, the better as it starts to create an identity around that type of content and allows you to maintain consistency across the site. Narrow focus doesn't mean you can't expand and build something that appeals beyond that vertical. Amazon's start with books is a classic example of that.

      Hey Ryan,

Thanks for sharing with me your valuable feedback. I totally agree with your input and I’ll certainly narrow the focus and try to make it clearer.

I’m thinking of just a title “Collections” with a second line “Setup, Gear, Kit”. Your thoughts?

Looking forward to launch in ProductHunt once I can give the landing page a better focus.

    Hello!

I honestly recommend just using your "https://scooget.com/frontends/explain_scooget" page as your landing page. The page you have up now is pretty crowded and doesn't give too much info on what the company actually is.

If you are set on having the post feed on your landing page, I'd at least have some text from explain_scooget above it.

    Good luck!

      Thanks Krpomales!

Appreciate your suggestion and will seriously look into it.

It's seriously a revelation for myself to see, or fail to see, how much of a tunnel vision a founder can acquire over time without seeking feedback.

    Hey Chiang!

I don’t get any idea on what your website is, even after looking at the title and browse a little while. And too much content to see without knowing what it is upfront is truly annoying for me.

I believe you could improve it much better, man! Keep up on bringing the clarity first and foremost.

      Hi Wilbertliu!

Thanks for your feedback and kind advice, I'm making the clarify of my landing page a key priority now! Do you reckon it'll help if "https://scooget.com/frontends/community" is the landing page instead?

So basically it’s a Reddit for products?

If yes, at the first glance I expect it to show some popular products with relevant discussions, instead of “just” discussions.

But I might be wrong though.

Regarding the tagline, I agree that it should be the one that you use for the landing page.

        Good luck! 🙏🏻
