    My ideas:

    1. AI assistant (extension for vscode) for the programmer. This is a path between the work of an autonomous (copilot) programmer and the old way. The solution itself is not to write code for the programmer, but to inform everything and help with programming.

    2. IOT - Blockchain proxy. This gives us access to build infrastructure proxies in coin owner devices. (base for this https://lnkd.in/dEzz34ee)

    3. Decentralized platform that connects local, sustainable farms with restaurants and grocery stores.

    4. The political party in the DAO. Monthly membership payments of 20 PLN each and once a month to decide how to invest the money.

    5. Airtable + Crunchbase. A platform that automatically scrapes data to fill in missing spaces in the columns. Each column can be integrated in a similar way to the integromat tool, or make.com. (base for this https://www.nocodb.com/).

    6. A mail (browser) plugin that is integrated with ChatGPT. A sales reply is automatically created for each new email received.

Very interesting, especially the one about twitter products!

Funny what I'm building is both 9) and 10) and 17)!

        Ooh, I was wondering. :)

          1. 2

This a seriously cool idea. Can it create the content automatically as well?

            1. 1

I have plugged it in as a PoC and it is working but just not at the open build.
It would become quite expensive to use OpenAI but do you think this would pay to have?

              1. 2

try : https://spacy.io/. You use their pre-build language models or dev your own for your own specific needs. You could host on AWS or GCP. I am sure it would/could be a lot cheaper. Plus you would have complete control over you system (which is a good thing).

Google, also, has an API for language processing that you could use. It's hosted on their GCP infrastructure. So you just create and and account and you code talks directly to theirs. However, I don't remember the details of the billing. Normally, they should have a free started account.

Oh, there is also this one: https://huggingface.co/
                and this: https://docs.fast.ai/

For the most part, I think that should sufficient to get you going to for your PoC. To experiment.

That's the pros. The cons: you will need to understand "how the engine works" and be able to fine tune it to your needs, if necessary. It's a little bit technically involved. But their documentation is probably, one of the best I have seen in my career.

We can discuss what mileage you got out the openAI PoC, if you would like.

                Hope that helps. Cheers

p.s there a whole bunch of commercial, other than openAI, that are available. Your back-end can talk to their APIs. I don't know how good or bad they can be for the task at hand. They also have free, starter accounts. So be sure you research those as well.

  5. 2

this is truly amazing. congrats to you. i like the storage idea of physical pictures. My son is starting a business to help people store their trading cards (e.g. Pokemon).

  6. 2

    THat's pretty impressive...

  7. 2

Thanks for sharing. I apprecate that! Thanks

  8. 2

Really like this combination of ideas! Well I'd say they're more areas where ideas to give inspiration but great list none the less, really gets juices flowing!

Ideas are kind of my thing, so here's one thing I recommend that I think is a good insight -- Don't make products for Notion, make products for ClickUp.

Lots of indie hackers have built things for Notion (it's quite trendy and cool), but less have built things for ClickUp, which seems to be used quite a bit and has more enterprise-facing features (which means more customers that can afford to pay for more than the free tier).

    1. 2

I had heard about the success of ClickUp. I didn't think of this list. Things done in Notion can be adapted to ClickUp. I will share this idea in another blog post. As the owner of the idea, I will add you to the blog post. :)

Why not Patreon or Buy me a Cofee ? How you gonna convince me to make the shift ?

      1. 2

My product will have a unique value proposition. Your followers will be able to contribute without paying any money. They could watch some ads instead.
The second thing will be competitive commissions (the lowest on the market).
Will this be enough to make you do the shift?

        1. 1

That's an interesting take. I will give you credit for your creativity and wish you the best of luck with your project !
