Agreed with Dave, the background image is a bit distracting, maybe try blurring it slightly, something like 'filter: blur(4px);' in CSS could work so that it's less in focus.
Articles are a nice touch.
Maybe add an option to filter by continent? I'm from Europe and noticed some say 'US only' - also in terms of timezone, I'd probably be looking for a company based on a similar time to me for any Skype meetings etc.

I second the 'filter by continent' feature request as a person in the UK.
Having said that, the interface is really clean and skimming through each job is no big deal, especially with the eye icon showing me which ones I've already read.
"Filter by region" is live now. It's still in the very early stage but seems to work fine. I hope this will make things easier for everyone.

Blurring background images was a great idea. I've uploaded blurred photos. I hope those are fine now.
I would love to add filters but Remote Arena is crawling job boards and grabbing content automatically. Because every website is different, I can only show common fields, like job title, category, location, brand name and logo etc. I will do my best to add filters but that would be hard to filter every location. I need to think of a better solution.

I find the background image on the homepage to be a little distracting, though. I found it hard to read the 'Discover top rated remote jobs around the world.' text. Also, the menu items in the 'Categories' menu overlapped with the edge of the monitor in your hero image and were hard to read (I'm on a smaller screen). Perhaps try dropping the opacity of that image, or using something less 'busy' might work?
I like the UI for list of jobs though. I assume the eye icon is showing which items in the list I've already viewed? I really like that feature.

You might be right about the background image but I couldn't find a proper solution. Opacity is .60 and some people say that they can read the text fine while a few others have some problems to read. I also tried to remove the background image and insert a gradient color background, but then it became less attractive. I'm not a designer so I'm having hard times to find a balance between usability and creativity. I will work more on this, for sure.
I couldn't replicate the top menu overlapping bug on small screens. May I ask your screen resolution please?
The eye icon is there to indicate the visited URLs. I thought that people might forget which items they've visited because there are so many items to list.
