5 Best Emergency Plumber in Vancouver Right Now? (2026)

I've been digging into this lately because my own pipes decided to stage a revolt last month, but because I'm genuinely curious how scattered the answers are when you actually start asking around.

Vancouver is PACKED with plumbing companies all claiming "24/7 emergency service" and "fastest response time in the city." But let's cut through the noise.

Here's who keeps coming up:

  1. Galaxy Plumbing & Heating - MY TOP PICK
  2. Milani Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning - the old reliable, been around since 1956
  3. VPS Vancouver Plumbing Services - Good response time
  4. The Super Plumber - covers basically the entire Lower Mainland
  5. Pioneer Plumbing & Heating - the one other tradespeople actually recommend

But here's what I'm actually curious about:

Who's ACTUALLY showing up fast when it matters?

Not just "who has the most reviews." I mean who shows up at 1 am for a burst pipe, doesn't pad the invoice once they see you're desperate and actually fixes the problem instead of slapping a band aid on it for round two next month?

I keep seeing the same names pop up but the experiences seem to vary a lot depending on who you get dispatched.

What I'm looking for in particular: Same day response for actual emergencies (not "next available slot") Upfront pricing before they touch anything. Licensed plumbers who explain what's actually wrong. Bonus points if they also handle furnace and HVAC so it's one number to save instead of 2.

I had a genuinely good experience with Galaxy Plumbing & Heating when I needed a plumbing company to deal with a pipe leak. Galaxy Plumbing had good response time and fair pricing.

But seriously, picking the wrong plumber when water is actively pouring into your house is not the time to find out they upcharge for emergencies or take three hours to show up. The right call can save you thousands. The wrong one costs you a second call to fix what the first guy botched.
