5 days out from my Product Hunt launch. Here's what I shipped this sprint (solo)

I'm launching Vyneron on Product Hunt next Wednesday (July 8), so here's a quick build-in-public update on what shipped since my last post.

Vyneron is an AI task, note, and routine manager. It runs on web and mobile, and if you use Telegram you can run the whole thing from a chat instead of opening another app.

What shipped this sprint, all solo:

  • Voice notes. Send a voice message, the AI turns it into a task or note. Voice transcription is unlimited.
  • Full data export and import. You own your data. Export everything and re-import it with tasks, notes, routines, tags, and files intact.
  • File memory. Upload a photo or document in chat and the AI remembers it. Ask "pull up the receipt I sent" days later and it finds it.
  • Rebuilt onboarding so the first five minutes actually teach the natural-language way of working.
  • BYOK now covers four providers (Gemini, OpenAI, Groq, Claude). Plug in your own key and the AI is free, at 0%
    markup.

Still true from before: holiday-aware recurring tasks across 250+ countries, 6 languages, 2,000+ tests, load tested.

No co-founder, no funding. Just shipping daily and catching my own blind spots.

If you've launched on Product Hunt as a solo dev, what's the one thing you wish you'd prepped earlier?

And if you want a ping on launch day, drop a comment or follow.

The strongest shift here isn’t the features—it’s that you’re reducing “app switching friction” to almost zero by letting the system live inside chat, voice, and context.

Most task tools compete on features. This is competing on where attention already is, which is a very different distribution advantage if it holds up after launch.

Exactly the bet. Most tools ask you to come to them. We're trying to meet people where they already are, so the system disappears into the chat and voice they already use all day.
And you named the real risk in your last line. Living inside chat only wins if the AI actually understands intent. Otherwise it's just another inbox. That's where most of the work has gone: parsing tasks from messy messages, holding context across the conversation, voice capture that logs without you thinking about it.
Appreciate you framing the distribution angle so clearly. That's more useful than any feature list I could write.

        Glad it resonated.

Your reply made me think there's one strategic decision sitting underneath that distribution advantage which becomes much more significant as the product grows, but I don't think I can explain the reasoning properly in a thread without oversimplifying it.

If you're interested, what's the best email to reach you on?

        1. 1

Appreciate that. I'd rather not lose the other folks reading along, so feel free to drop the gist right here, oversimplified is totally fine. If it needs more room after that, we can take it further.

Happy to share the short version.

The thing I'd be watching isn't the distribution advantage itself.

It's the business decision that advantage quietly commits you to as the product grows.

I don't think that decision is obvious at first glance, and I'd rather not oversimplify it in a few sentences.

That's the part I found interesting.

            1. 1

I'd really like to hear the full version whenever it suits you. If email is easier, hello@vyneron.com reaches me directly. If you'd rather keep it here so others can follow along, that works just as well.
And honestly, thank you for thinking about this as carefully as you have. That means a lot this week.

              1. 1

Thanks! I’ve just sent it over.

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts whenever you have a chance.

I’m also a solo dev getting ready to launch on Product Hunt soon (for Yena, a daily knowledge app for professionals), so this was motivating to read. Love how focused you are on onboarding and data ownership too. The one thing I’m trying to prep early is a clear, simple story for the PH page and first comment, not just a feature list, but “who this is for and why it’s different.” Curious to see how your launch goes, please share a link when it’s live.

    1. 2

Thanks, glad it resonated. The "why this is different" story is the part I keep coming back to. What's working for me is describing the exact moment someone reaches for the app, so the features read as proof instead of the pitch.Good luck with Yena. I'll drop the link here when we're live, curious how yours goes too.

Hey! You asked me to ping you when Vyneron launches — today's the day 🚀
We're live on Product Hunt: https://www.producthunt.com/products/vyneron?utm_source=other&utm_medium=social
No pressure on the upvote — what would actually help me is a comment with your honest take, even a critical one. And if you have 2 minutes to try the Telegram bot, I'd love to hear where it breaks.
Thanks for caring enough to ask about this back then, it meant a lot.
