Making your products visible in search results is no easy feat… But who can provide better tips than Google itself?
1 - Make sure your products are indexed.
Making a Merchant Center (MC) Product Feed is the easiest approach to assist Google in finding product pages. Additionally, it is the first stage of search engine optimization for your shop.
2 - Check product pricing data. Incorrect data extraction by Google might result in the search results showing your original price rather than your reduced price.
3 - Minimize inconsistencies in pricing and availability. Google visits your website at its own convenient time. Prices between a website and a search engine might change due to a timing discrepancy.
By asking MC to process your feeds more regularly or turning on Automatic item updates, you may lessen the latency in one of two ways.
4 - Ensure your pages are eligible for rich product results. You can increase traffic to your product page by using rich results such as featured snippets, pricing information, brand snippets, and others.
To find out if your product page qualifies, use Google's Rich Results Test tool. If not, your product pages should include structured data, and the MC should have a product feed.
5 - Share product inventory data. If you have a physical store, make sure your products can be found if users search for “near me” queries.
