5 validated business ideas

Hi, I'm Katt.

Every 2 weeks I look for untapped keywords with Build The Keyword that are perfect product ideas.

The untapped keyword criteria:

  • It needs to be a keyword you can build a digital product around
  • It needs a significant volume (monthly search volume of >500)
  • It needs to have low competition (keyword difficulty <20)
  • It needs to have enough relevant related keywords

If the untapped keyword fits all those criteria, it means that if you build a good product around the keyword and get some backlinks (max 20), you will:

  • Be able to rank in the top 10 on google
  • Get customers on auto-pilot

Validated business ideas are those concepts or opportunities that have been thoroughly researched, tested, and proven to have a viable market demand. This typically involves conducting market research, gathering feedback from potential customers, and perhaps even creating a minimum viable product to assess interest and potential success before fully investing in the idea.

      hello bot

  2. 2

Interesting sharing, is the unit of search volume thousands or times? If the search volume is about 500 times, isn't it a very small demand?

  3. 1

These are great product ideas grounded in real search demand and low competition. Each idea taps into existing needs, providing a clear path to monetization. I especially like the voice memo transcription ideaโ€”AI-driven automation is hot, and the upsell potential is strong. The focus on agencies for analytics is smart too, as agencies are always looking for better reporting solutions. Solid list!

You should target keyword Voice memo transcription

      • Implement it in your url or url slug, in your H1 (first word), in your subtitle, in the alt text of your images, in your meta title and description
      • Get some backlinks
      • Setup google search console and an analytics tool

If you have Build The Keyword Pro I share more detailed steps in the guides.

It sounds incredibly useful. I'm curious, how do you typically validate these product ideas beyond the keyword criteria?

    1. 2

The way I would do it is:

      • Create around the keyword a landing page with a waitlist or a quick mvp
      • Talk a lot to the first signups to figure out what you need to focus on.
      • Set up some google ads targeting the keyword so you don't need to wait for organic traffic to kick in (otherwise this can take a few months)

Are you able to share more info on the analytics for agencies keywords? Iโ€™ve been thinking of doing something in this space

    1. 1

I think the best way to figure that out is to reach out to agency owners in Facebook groups or other communities.

        1. 1

Hey @dgplanes8 - heads-up I've been in the professional digital media/agency industry for >15 years and this space is already SUPER competitive. Not saying you can't breakthrough but it is far from fresh territory.

  14. 1

    Subscription Box Services:

Idea: Create curated subscription boxes that cater to niche markets such as beauty products, fitness gear, gourmet foods, or books.
Validation: The subscription box industry has grown significantly, with successful companies like Birchbox, Dollar Shave Club, and Blue Apron proving the model's viability. Customers appreciate the convenience and personalization.
