I'm building Venu — a WhatsApp automation CRM for aesthetic clinics in Spain. €149/month flat. The core pitch: clinics lose patients every day because they respond too slowly on WhatsApp. Venu handles lead qualification and appointment booking automatically.
The ICP is tight: clinic owners, 1–8 employees, treatments above €80/session.
I've made 50+ cold calls in Barcelona. The script opens with an ambiguous line to bypass receptionists, gets to the owner, asks one diagnostic question, and pushes for a demo with a two-option close.
Results: zero booked demos.
I don't think the product is the problem. I think the outreach is. A few specific things I'm uncertain about:
Is cold calling the wrong channel for local health/beauty SMBs in Southern Europe?
How do you actually get past a receptionist who has no incentive to transfer you?
At what call volume does it start to work, or is volume not the issue?
Would love to hear from anyone who's sold local B2B SaaS — especially in non-English markets. What cracked it for you?
