Question:
How many product ideas are there in just adding missing functionality to existing SaaS companies?
Context:
Today, I had my mind blown.
I needed to analyze a bunch of conversations on our Intercom chat. I'm rewriting our support docs and so I thought I'd just answer the most commonly asked questions.
But we've been going for a long time now so we've got a lot of chat history. And Intercom doesn't have a neat way to see that without infinite scrolling. (ugh).
So I found that there's a tool out there that does just that: $50 and you can export chat history to CSV.
That one missing feature from Intercom made me go off and pay someone to query my account for me, and export it as a CSV.
It made me wonder:
How many other product ideas are there in just adding missing functionality to existing SaaS companies?
Marc, which product did you use to achieve this? Do you still use it?
