Hello...
I've been coding as a freelancer for years and had been developing many tools across the years with Lifetime values that have got good ROI. But it was Lifetime deals and Desktop applications that later demanded updates.
I think Lifetime was a great income, but money won't last unless you launch more deals and get more support. Eventually, that is a loss. That is why I jumped into a journey of Web apps SaaS and sell for a monthly subscription.
It is been now 3 months. I have reached $500 MRR before, but some users cancel subscriptions, I call that consolidation. It takes a few cancels until you built upon solid customers. Usually, those are with people I have made demos and they know me + they know I listed and update based on their requests.
My first project is called LeadGen.tools and it is a Smart Search and Automator to grab precious data from multiple sources. Verify and Export to your campaigns.
The website is: https://leadgen.tools

Giving a free trial with Paypal sub or Stripe because there were many abusers creating multiple accounts and consuming my budget that I pay sometimes on other APIs.
I'm paying $150 for Quora Ads. $150 FB Ads and $500 USD Google Adwords. Using my freelancer profits to pay extras. I'm going to be happy when I reach my marketing budget and exceed it. Not considering server costs I'm -$500 MRR.
My next goal will be 1k. I gotta track the cancel rate and try to retain with different options.
What do you think?
Which advice do you think I can apply?
Hey Rodrigo, I just checked out Leadgen Tools and the product seems extremely interesting, especially for B2B businesses. I will definitely recommend this tool to the agency that I currently work with.
I also noticed that you mentioned your users canceling services at times. Do you analyze your churn rates? Do you get feedback from your churned customers? I work for a SaaS company called Churnfree.com and we help brands like yours to track and analyze subscription churn. If you're interested in implementing something like this for your business then let me know and I can get you a free trial account until you start seeing some positive results. Cheers!
I don't analyze churn rates yet. Churnfree.com looks really interesting.
I will consider including this, does it attempt to contact user to ask feedback automatically?
It's basically a tiny snippet of code added to your website cancellation button or link. So whenever a user attempts to cancel a subscription, the Churnfree cancellation survey is activated. You can then give users offers or discounts based on what they choose in the cancellation survey. Do let me know if you're interested and I can talk to my team and get you set up as soon as possible :)
I think $500 in 3 months is incredible. I have been working on the WBE Space for 8 months and have only reached $400. Congrats!!
You'd have lower churn if you onboarded users manually, cause signups from ads are never loyal.
For some reason, all IH links to your project don't open. You build a more sustainable business by closing the first 20 customers on calls, cause you get massive knowledge and build relationships. Can help you with marketing and user acquisition to get it to 12K ARR in less than 3 months.
Sorry about the links, got a maintenance problem with the domain. (renewed domain for several years now) The links are now all accessible.
About the $12k ARR that means 1k MRR. Would you like to get an affiliate or how do you want to go with this?
