Best,
Interesting concept, I shared the link with a couple up and coming entrepreneurs who are interested in rapid prototyping. Honest feedback is they were put off a little by the copy, they thought the text didn't quite read right and had assumed your site may be an outfit from India cashing in on service arbitrage.
My recommendation would be to go over the text on your site and make sure it reads well in English and double-check how you are representing numbers.
Also, an example project or two you have delivered would be great, seeing satisfied customers can help to instil confidence.
I wish you all the best!
Thanks for the feedback Adam!!
I will definitely review the site copy since I'm not an English native speaker =)
I hope to have a lot of great reviews soon!
Best,
Congratulations on your launch. I don't want to be the bad guy here but just wanted to share my view with you ;)
I think you should specify exactly what you're delivering to avoid chargebacks and angry customers/bad reviews. 100% functional MVP might be confusing for a customer without a technical background.
From my experience charging less usually brings in customers that are not happy with what they pay for and tend to ask for more features without wanting to pay for the work. My MVPs tend to be between $1800 and $4000 and at this pricepoint it allows me to focus on more business orientated clients who understand what it takes to start a successful business.
I don't see a sustainable business model here. Correct me if I'm wrong. I'm open to broadening my view. :)
Hi, Thanks for the message!
I understand your point of view, but my goal here is to bring an alternative without needing to hire a developer, I want to ship a functional MVP so people can test their ideas without spending too much time and money. That's why it's only $500.00 =)
I encourage people to send their requests, maybe it's not possible to do it with no-code tools if so, we will indicate the best way to do it...
As I mention on the other post, my beliefs on the scale part is reducing my internal development from 21 days to 8~15 days, so I can run multiples MVPs at the same time...the challenge is to reduce CAC since is not a subscription model, I need to get all the job done in 21 days and get good referrals from that...If the operation grows I can outsource with other no-code professionals.
My personal goal is to try to make all MVPs profitable in 3~6 months, helping our clients with the go-to-market strategy, then it's natural that all the clients move to a more robust ($$$) solution...
I love to hear all the opinions around this, it's a great discussion and I'm 100% open to learn and pivot if I need :)
Interesting idea. Good luck
Thanks!!!
Is it possible that you could share previous MVPs you worked on?
Awesome! Hope it takes off.
Thanks very much!👊🏻
Man, how should this work? Where's the business model? How do you want to make profit? You could take Webflow and let a poor fiverr guy do the job for 20 bucks but then you have just a landing page with some crappy copy but NO actual MVP. Once you start real coding things get expensive. I've to admit that the problem you solve is a huge problem tho.
Hi Cass, thanks for your message, it is great to hear all points of view! Answering your questions...
How should this work? I'm focusing on no-code tools and consulting services.
Where's the business model? It's a consulting services model (It's no SaaS, P2P, etc..) with two clear value propositions: We deliver a real MVP in 21 days, not a powerpoint + Go-to-market strategy with more than $50k in benefits (email Mkt, CRM, etc...)
How do you want to make a profit? I can scale the number of MVPs I deliver reducing my internal development from 21 days to 8~15 days...the challenge here is to reduce CAC since is not a subscription model, I need to get all the job done in 21days; otherwise, I will spend too much money on a single client. Besides that, it's possible to outsource also with other no-code professionals.
I will love to hear some feedbacks around the copy of the landing page. I know that is always space to improve! =)
Your landing is great, point is clear and again it's a nice product I'd book in a second. From a customer perspective there's still some privacy concerns or what if they guy just takes my idea/MVP, makes a fork and does his own thing. I know, small probs, but founders are paranoid.
For you it might be good way to get leads in. What is your tech stack you are doing the MVPs and where are you based?
I agreed! I might think to make a simple NDA contract in order to remove this roadblock.
I'm based in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The basic stack is Bubble, Webflow, Glide, among other no-code tools.
awesome! any examples of apps you've built? that might help prospective customers understand the depth of functionality that's feasible for you to deliver.
Thanks, EJ!! I'm working on a showcase of examples with no-code tools, such as marketplaces, job boards, among others. I made a couple of them, but none were established under the 500dollarsMVP brand. I'm thinking of doing some free services to kick-off, hahaha. I encourage people to send their requests so I can analyze and bring a solution for an MVP!
Interesting idea! Would you be interested in listing on careermove.io deals page? It's perfect for professionals breaking into Entrepreneurship...
