#websitefeedbackrequest
Hey peeps!
Could you give me 1-2 action items to improve flow, verbiage, layout, color-scheme?
The feedback I've received about the website has been positive, but it's from friends, people who aren't ready to rip it apart in the name of progress.
What was this website made in?
To be honest, I don't like the layout or the colors. Not to mention, it's broken.

I went around to other beard care sites and you are very close to being the best-looking one that I have seen. Where did you make this? What feedback have you received so far?
Here are some of the first sites I found:
https://badassbeardcare.com/ - horrible
https://www.beardbrand.com/ - the best(in my opinion)
https://www.zeusbeard.com/ - pretty okay
https://www.justformen.com/ - meh
https://www.honestamish.com - simple
https://www.mountaineerbrand.com - okay
I would try to design your website so that it builds trust immediately.
I appreciate the candid reply and critique. I must have a caching issue so I didn't even notice the header/nav bar being messed up on all those pages. Thanks for going above and using loom to show me.
The response has been positive, but I agree that most beard care websites aren't very good and haven't been updated in ages. I'll crash through it again tonight/this week.
I like the mention on instant trust building.
Feel free to reach out to me, I think you are on to something already.
Are you the owner of The Bearded Vets, if so, shout out from a fellow 831 :)
@The_Bearded_Vets it is better for sure
I don't know if this will ping the people who commented, so I'm going to ping them individually too, just in case.

I've updated the site according to my revised thoughts and incorporated your suggestions. If you wouldn't mind terribly, would you give it a second glance-over?
Hi Shannon, your site is a HUGE improvement. Seriously, it is looking so much better.
However, there are still some things that are either going wrong or just need some tweaking.
I am going to send you an email with some changes and examples.
Looks nice. Here are a couple of things you could improve.
The nav bar could be more compact and then I might be able to see some of the products for sale. Related, consider showing products above the fold. Just look at how much space it takes up on my screen:

The navigation bar is broken on the beard-info page, probably because the logo is missing. Here is what it looks like on my screen:

Thanks for your walkthrough Danial. I had someone show me on Loom that the nav bar is apparently broken on several pages. I will be redoing the nav bar to condense it, reorder it and remove the social icons here shortly.
Website is pretty nice but why it has social media link on the top and at the bottom as well !!
I would keep it at the bottom
You know, it was mainly because of the platform I'm using and having issues with the nav bar, it was easier to balance everything with them there, but I get that it's counter productive.
Random things
good luck!
I appreciate the detailed walkthrough. I also agree with so many of these points.
Thanks so much. If you're bearded, follow me on insta/facebook (thebeardedvets) and I'll send you a thank you.
