$5K Sales in 2 days for Yotta Leads

I had a conversation with a friend who works in Sales and we were discussing how sales development process is broken. We are all getting emails from people who bought our information and trying to sell us something - that never works.

Then I spent some time research companies which are selling sales leads - probably the most shady business out there. You don't know what you are buying, how old are leads, how many people bought the leads before, etc.

We decided to build a product that could replace sales development role. Technical co-founder spend some time coding to built tool that will help gather and sort data.

Our targets are high growing companies because there is higher chance of sale. Also, we are delivering new leads every week, so our product is replacing sales development role in small companies. Pricing is straight-forward and customer can cancel anytime.

We send out emails to 20ish companies where sales co-founder had contacts. We were not expecting much, just to see if there will be some answers. Within 2 days after sales co-founder started selling product we got 5K revenue (2 companies bought full year - with discounts). Seems this is something people need. Goal is to create product for super-targeted sales campaigns.

Also, website was build in Carrd within 20 min, so here is the proof that you don't need fancy website if product is good. People will still buy it :)
