6 months monetizing automated telegram channels
Hi everyone!
I'm a blogger but I've been working for more than 6 months on a side-project with Telegram channels that I monetize with affiliation.
In April I was encouraged to create an automation (in Make/Integromat) that searched for the latest offers that were coming out in AppSumo to publish them in a Telegram channel. In fact I published this tweet (in Spanish) explaining the process, and the truth is that it was very well received:
Since then, the channel grew significantly (to more than 1300 subscribers), the automation has changed a lot (I have optimized it much more), I've added more deal providers like Dealify and PitchGround, I publish lists of top-rated offers and I've reuse the data for publishing the offers also in a channel in English (this one with few subscribers for now).
In these 6 months it has generated about 1,320€ (about 12,700€ in sales for AppSumo), and now I was thinking about growing the Telegram channel in English.
I wanted to ask you:
- What do you guys think about the project?
- How would you get subscribers for the Telegram channel?
