62% of global website traffic is organic search - how about your website?

A highly cited study in 2019 by Brightedge shows that 53% of all web traffic come from organic search.

I was looking for a fresher study to see if this still holds true in 2023. I found a 2022 study that also compared itself to SimilarWeb (with 3,25 bn traffic data) so that seems trustworthy to me.

This study says organic search has rosen to 62% of all web traffic:

on our website, organic search is 60% of all traffic.

Is that also what you are seeing on your websites?

Let's share statistics to see what our realities are :)

Hey there! Most of my product Legendsverse traffic comes from organic. I built it to be SEO friendly and it has been working fine I guess. I get about 2k visitors from google each month. This doesn’t mean all of them convert, of course. Still a long way to go in that sense

Cool. Yeah it really depends on the kind of keyword you get traffic for. Informational searches convert to leads (like a trial or demo call) at a very low percentage. below 0,5% in our case.

How do you get yourself in the category of websites that get found organically?

You will need to do SEO. It's quite some work, but it pays off greatly.
