    Hi Mark!

UI/UX Designer here and I've read the entire page, every line, and I still have no clue what DC is or what it does.

Because you're not Apple selling iPads, you need to educate us. Not that we're dumb, we simply don't know what your product is solving and we have short attention spans.

Another hacker in the comments @CraigBarber mentioned some good items, I'd follow his suggestions. For my part, here are some elements to consider.

Try to respond to these questions, in no particular order, in a single sentence. One short sentence.

    1. What is DC?
    2. Who's it for?
    3. What does it do? (what are the features?)
    4. Why should I care? (what are the benefits?)
    5. How is your solution different? (to competitors or alternative solutions)
    6. How simple is this to use in MY daily routine or is it done for me?
    7. How much is this?
    8. What am I committing to? (what is the call to action?)

Here's a very simple exercise that works wonders. Grab 2 sheets of paper, stack them vertically (portrait), one on top of the other. Pretend this is a landing page.

Write all your single-sentence answers on those two sheets. I'll bet you'll be writing something that's 100x more concise and poignant this way.

    Hope this helps! :)

I got the idea of the problem you are solving. But wondering "how" you plan solving it? Are there any insights.

Also, I found too much copy. Maybe you could shorten it a bit.

Thank you for the comment. I'll certainly look over the text and see if I can tighten it up some. Of course, until we get to Beta not much in visualization that I can show.

Not providing any details at this point on exactly what we're doing, that will come out around the time we are closer to launch and have everything in its proper place.

Overall look/feel is really nice, but similar to some of the other comments it is difficult to understand what is different about what you are providing.

It doesn't give me the urgency to sign up. That might be because there is too much copy so I feel I need to digest it all. It seems your goal is to get me to sign up, in which case less is more.
Give me enough info to just sign up as quick as possible (I'm making it sound easier than it is!)

Thanks, agree with your assessment on it.

The headings should be bold not thin font weight & bold font weight mixed found very off putting

Thanks, will make sure to adjust that.

Just basing this off my own reaction..maybe you could make the call to action bigger ("join our pre-launch list)? I totally missed it until I got to the bottom and started looking for it.

      Thanks, agree with your reaction.

    Hey Mark,

There's some work to be done

    1. Firstly you should always follow this format on your landing page:

    2. State Product benefit. ( Main headline )

    3. State your Product description. ( Sub heading )

    4. What to do. ( Call to action )

I need to know the above 3 things straight away - at the moment your call to action is lost.

    1. Drop that blue sticky bar.
    2. Drop the footer

    Hope this helps.

PS: I'm writing a book on how to create great landing pages.

      Craig, thank's for the comments.

Wonder if you could clarify, the landing page has two statements at the very top right now, "Your Brand. Your Content. Monetized." and "Content Monetization built with Common Sense".

Aren't those the benefit and description (although flipped, I'd think). Am I thinking about that incorrectly?

The sticky bar is the call to action, at this point, which is to join our pre-launch email list. The reason I make it sticky is to be visible as the user scrolls down the page instead of placing it between every point which I'm not a particular fan of, although I've seen others do it.

Just trying to get a better understanding of your points.

      Thanks
