Hi Abdul, I created a public Trello board with 100 ways to get your first 100 users: https://trello.com/b/wGkvzNYV/πŸš€100-tried-and-tested-actionable-ways-to-get-your-first-100-users Hope it's useful πŸš€

    Emailing your inner network :)

For stuff that's solving an explicit problem (as opposed to a nice-to-have), the first few usually come from doing your normal customer conversations/learning. And then, when people you're talking to seem extra keen about the problem you're solving, transition into a more product/sales convo.

As others have already mentioned, I would start with family and friends. I would then try to build a user base on social media websites like Twitter. As an example, if you are in the process of making a game, I would recommend making extensive use of hashtags to gain more impressions on your tweets. Best of luck! :)

Emailed a survey to friends and family and asked them to forward to any SMB they knew. Later launched on Betalist and other startup listing sites (not sure if that works anymore)

I was able to sign up to quite a few high traffic apps and their directories (Slack, Google Hangouts Chat, etc) provided instant traffic. Through there it was simply refinement and time.

I have gotten the first ~60 users for https://frequently.io through Product Hunt, Hacker News, Indie Hackers, various entrepreneur-related subreddits, and Twitter.

Asking for feedback in Reddit, FB & Slack communities work well for first users.

After that, you have to work for first paying users :)
