Hello fellows, I just released www.practical-programming.org/pml, a new, free tool to quickly create beautiful web articles and books.

I'd say it's overly simple ;-)

First, based on how minimal your landing page is, it's pretty clear that people are going to want to read more. So imo you shouldn't force them to click the "read more" link. Instead, you should just show that information right on your homepage.

Second, what action do you want people to take? I don't see any call to action anywhere. You say that you want to convince visitors, but your site doesn't make it clear what you're trying to convince me of. Is it just to educate me about PML? Is it to install the PML converter?

My third point is a bit trivial, but I'm not a fan of the tabs interface at the top. It feels like I'm in an application of some sort that I don't understand. And, oddly, none of the tabs are selected when I'm on the homepage. Might be simpler and less confusing to just style them like normal links.
