Hi all,

I've been planning to create a curated weekly newsletter that will eventually be generated automatically with machine learning. I started off with Revue as it made the newsletter design and creation super easy, and it automatically creates an archive site - but there was no way to create the issues programmatically and had some significant shortcomings with tracking/analytics

I was hoping for some advice on which of the multitude of email platforms would be able to help me accomplish the following goals:

  1. API capabilities:
  • Construct newsletters from a template (a template builder would be ideal, but not strictly necessary)
  • Construct one-off lists from subscriber base, so that I can send different variations of the newsletter to different subsets (and those subsets may change every single week)
  • Retrieve a detailed newsletter performance report, including every click of each link from each subscriber
  1. Issue archive website
  • I would like some mechanism to add the newsletter content to a blog (which may or may not have other content being posted)

It looks like Mailchimp and Constant Contact would both be able to accomplish this, but their price range is not ideal. Is there anything I'm missing?

Cheers!
