How did you start to sell services (Alexa skills, chatbot, data analysis) to local companies? I'm curious because I'm struggling with it.
You need to understand what issue the tool you're selling solves, then identify who is having that issue.
Chatbots are great for service-industry, blue collar type of companies. So you say, "okay, blue collar companies need to be contacted, and people aren't calling them every time they visit, this increases conversion." You use a tool to see how many site visits they get /month and then call them with your action-statement.
Hey there https://thebeardedvets.com I see that you get 300-400 visits per month, has that equated to 300-400 sales? Part of the issue is that people want to ask you questions but can't. What if they could, using this chatbot? A chatbot (or whatever) has been shown to improve conversion by 2-5%. So if you got 10 sales organically last month, now you're looking at 18-20 sales, and so on...
Calls are more effective than email, but don't discount an email follow-up or campaign.
Totally agree to go with facts. What's the tool you use to see how many visits they get every month?
I’m not sure what free tools are out there but we use ahrefs. Sometimes having too much information to dive through gives you analysis paralysis though, so trust your gut, if the website looks decent assume a low-med volume.
Thanks @The_Bearded_Vets, so I can use this as cold email for http://leadsbot.xyz/
