Is there a website to find writers and hire them based on their reviews, credentials and previous work?

If you want the more premium book/journalist industry professionals (well, ex-professionals, now freelancers), check out http://reedsy.com . I use it for my editors, proofreaders, etc etc (I've spent about $5000 on there so far), and there are plenty of folks on there who will write stuff for you, and who will have previously worked for NYT or whatever other bigname publication.

There used to be Pronoun.com, writers, reviewers, cover artists marketplace. I guess they were sold.
