7 lessons that you can get from 100+ launched digital projects

Okay, 7 ideas, sounds a bit scarce for so many projects. But it's really a lot in terms of the value of the experience and the price of the mistakes that can be avoided.

I can recommend the podcast of the company I work in - LinkUp Studio (for those interested - Building Digital Products podcast). It's not "how cool we are, hire us, please", yet just talking about the experiences they got and wanted to share.

About the ideas.

I can note the conservatism of millennial businessmen (or developers)

when ingenious ideas can be rejected because they have not been protested by anyone.

A few years ago LinkUp had a client who wanted to develop an app for texting with people around. You go to another place - you get another circle of app users to text with. Like a quick chat.

And the customer said on one of the calls that he wanted to put on the chat background live phone`s camera screen. And no one could understand the essence of the idea, it turns out to be super expensive - obviously, the camera that will run constantly in the background will take a lot of battery power, + the speed of the app will deteriorate - in general for developers it sounded like an unnecessary and ill-considered feature.

When this project was once again analyzed, someone voiced it and we realized how ingenious the idea is!

While the person is messaging while walking down the street, they don´t see what is under their feet. In this way it was possible to avoid injuries and save users from danger at least a little.

So the first lesson is

Not understanding an idea doesn't mean you shouldn't try.

While typing this story, I realized that there would be too much text for one post. So I will write a sequel with the rest of the ideas.
