Outside of the US -- absolutely. Everyone I've met outside of the US this past year have no idea [or don't care] about the company, but they use FB just as the good lord intended it to be used.

Beat me to it. Couldn't even tell ya how long it's been since I deleted.
With that, my wife was asking what color I thought some shoe was today. Hard to escape the nonsense :(
google + left an empty spot for many internet communities. Facebook however is not in a place to capitalize that completely, because many people did not use real names on G+.
i dont use facebok so i cant compare.
