Congrats on your release. I don't fall in your target (I am more of a Trello + Slack user) but for me this seems like a high price tag for very limited functionality. Asana + Slack integration is free.
That's true, but asana + slack is supported by those teams. What would you consider a better price point?
My thinking was that if i go a bit high and still manage to get some users, it will further 'prove' the need in the market.

You can test it and see. I would be happy to be proved wrong.
Personally, something more like $19/year would make sense for something of this type. But the only way to know is to test it in the market.
