I **just** signed up for Amy Hoy's 30x500 course!

I just signed up for Amy Hoy's 30x500 course! I'd heard about it here and there over the years, but it was listening to her techzing interviews recently that really sold me.

I'm going to follow the course in its spirit, which means I may be releasing some new or different products. I'll also create IH product pages and share whatever revenue is coming in through Stripe! Really psyched and looking forward towards the course!

Who else is in this batch?

#30x500 #start #techzing

Edit: And Alex Hillman, too! Amy and Alex's course!

Also, I'm happy to say that my screencasting business covered the price of this! I'm gonna be living super cheap for a bit, but I don't mind at all!

    How much did it cost?

    1. 1

$2k, but I got $100 off for signing up right away when it opened.

Wowzer, hopefully it's a good ROI.

Howdy! A quick note on ROI, since it comes up often.

This year we started doing a better job of keeping track of our students and to our knowledge, everyone who has shipped a product using our process has earned back at least the price of admission. Many more earn back multiples within the first 12 months after their first product launch, with examples ranging from from $5-30k extra on the side of a full time job, to income-replacing income.

We also recently started working with Case Study Buddy to help us uncover and share more of these stories, since creating good case studies is hard (I know, I've done all of ours before this year!) so I'm looking forward to sharing more of those soon! Our next two case studies are someone who thrashed around forever and finally applied the process, and has built a successful income-replacing suite of Shopify apps. The other one coming soon is with someone who created a super-niche book for a programming framework that supports him and his family (he and his wife recently had a baby girl!)

Transparently, these kinds of success stories don't usually happen on the very first launch day - they're the result of smaller product launches adding up to bigger revenues and better sales systems over time.

But at the other end of the spectrum, those oh-so-painful $0 sale launch days are essentially non-existant within our student community and in the rare situation where a has a dud launch, we (and our community!) work with them to identify what parts of the process they skipped or half-assed and can improve...usually without starting all over again from scratch.

Like any course, the outcome is based on YOU doing the work, we can't do that for you :) but students who put in the work and follow the process we teach find that it works, reliably, and each subsequent success is designed to "stack" bigger and bigger over time.
