Get clients directly to your inbox, new service for freelancers

I am a web developer for several years now and I found the biggest issue I had was that I wasted a lot of time writing proposals to clients who would go with someone cheaper anyway. The competition on the big freelancing platforms from 3rd world countries is just overwhelming.

This is the reason why I created a service which sends you clients via email: https://sentcode.com/getclients.php
You get all the project details, description, time-frame and budget via email for free. If you are not interested in a particular project you can just ignore it. If you want to take over a project you click 'accept' and get it instantly. All clients are vetted before they are referred to make sure they are actually serious about their projects. Most of them are from google search ads and Facebook ads.

No proposals, no down-bidding, you get the client details and can start to do the work. Clients pay you directly on your terms. No platform or third-party that gets your money. You can ask for a down-payment or upfront payment.

I would be really happy if you would give it a try! Currently I refer projects for web development, app development and graphic design. Other categories will be added soon.

    Hi! Nice project.
Could you give us more details about the way you're collecting those leads?
Moreover, how do you guarantee that developers who subscribe to your offer are relevant/great to the jobs?

So clients have no choice as to who accepts their project?

I had fun building a low-fi MVP for WordPress leads using AirTables and Bootstrap (http://wpleads.co/).

I was getting too many leads for work and booked in advance. I'd contact the prospects and offer them free listing on the site. I only ever did this with a few just to test the concept quickly.

I didn't proceed as I found a lot of skepticism from other freelancers about the way I collected the leads and many were reluctant to pay for the service. Perhaps this could be overcome by providing the first lead free?

Definetly pospossible to make this work. See: https://folyo.me/ -- who have a ridiculously dark pattern waiting list to create artificial scarcity / exclusivity. But seem to have create a biz from this.

Anyway, I'll watch this with interest as great idea and I know I'd find it useful.

    Good luck! πŸ‘

Nice! I think this a great idea. We are taking a different approach at folyoz.net , but are working to fix some similar issues in the creative industry.

I would love to hear how this progresses! There is a lot of innovation to be done as we move into the "gig-economy" (overused term, I know).

    Best of luck! Great idea.

Cool, the same question, how do you find so many leads and guarante that it’s the right developer?

Love this concept. Are you thinking about doing it for other verticals?

    1. 1

Yes, this is something I will be looking into! What vertical do you have in mind?
