Get your Hands Dirty
Dictating others by sitting in a chair without going to the fieldsets is a very bad example for your team. When you just dictate your team to do this or that but don’t put your hands there, your team starts hating you. It becomes dirty work when you don’t do it but order your team to do it, so as a leader you have to support and guide or if possible help your team to do the work. And absolutely no one likes to do the dirty work.

Take Responsibility
A leader should always take responsibility. If your team has done something wrong, then you have to take responsibility in front of others. It not only builds trust but also sets a great example for you in front of your followers. A great leader takes full credit for the failure of an organization to defend its team. You should never blame your followers on that, and try to fix that mistake.

Listen To Your Team Members
Listening to team members, this point seems easy but in our hectic schedule, we miss it many times. Managing a team is the most important responsibility of a leader. Your team is everything for you and to do manage your team, you should have a daily meeting with them. Listening to your team helps a leader to identify their problems and the obstacle which is stopping their growth.

Failure——Solution
Failure is the thing that you will receive if your goal is something big. If your organization’s goal is to innovate something big or do something, then failure is the road, not an obstacle. In fact, failure is a vital process of invention and innovation. But the mistake which most leaders do here is they punish and demotivate their team. They don’t focus on the solution because of which the team doesn’t focus on the solution. You have to look closely at the problem, think of the solution, and encourage your team to do so. Move from problem to solution.

Be Loyal And Committed
Always be loyal and committed to your words and actions. If you don’t follow your commitment, your team notices that. If you think that in a meeting you will say and commit big things and your followers will not notice that even if you don’t follow that, then you are wrong. Because your followers will notice how loyal you are towards them and do act according to that. It also affects your leadership by example. As if you are not loyal towards your followers then your followers will also be not loyal towards you.

Follow your own rules
Some leaders make rules but don’t follow them. They make a rule of wearing a formal uniform in the office and working late at night but they don’t follow them. This thing affects your leadership by example very badly. We can conclude here that someone is establishing rules, but not following them. If you are expecting your followers to follow rules which you don’t follow, then you have to change your thinking.

Be honest and truthful
Always try to be honest with your team members. “Honesty is the best policy”, if you are honest towards your followers, they will be honest towards you. Though honesty is difficult at times, your honesty as a leader is vital to maintaining organizational health. It affects your relationships, team, and organization.

Establish A Baseline Of Excellence
If someone does something extraordinary, everyone starts copying them. That thing only you have to do here. If you work with full dedication at late night for some days, your followers will start joining you. They will feel the goodwill inside you. And that you have to do. You have to establish a baseline of excellence and your followers will build that up.

Take care of yourself
Altogether, health is one of the most important factors. You should never devote your team such that they forget about their health and devote their whole time to the project. There is a thing called work-life balance. Just like in a job, you get time after 5 or 7. Like that, only you and your employee should have their work-life balance. Balanced means to live a physically and mentally balanced life. It includes exercise, eating well and many more like that. You should take care of yourself as well as your employees.
