8 ways to find influencers for your product

David Park is generating +$1.5M from his AI SaaS, Jenni.

His growth has been largely fueled by one growth strategy:

Influencer marketing.

👇 Here are 8 ways you can find influencers for your product

1. Leverage your existing network

Tap into your audience and customer base to identify potential influencers.

Create an influencer landing page and promote your program through social media and email lists.

2. Use influencer marketing tools

Use social media platforms' native tools like TikTok's Creator Marketplace and Snapchat Creator Marketplace.

You can also use specialized influencer marketing software such as Upfluence, Grin, CreatorIQ, CreatorTag, Takle, Billo, or Tagger.

3. Search functions in social media platforms

Use search functions on social media platforms and search engines to find subject matter experts by looking for relevant keywords in your niche.

4. Find articles

Look for articles ranking popular influencers in your specific niche and reach out to their authors.

They usually come in the way of "top travel influencers" or "best marketing tools."

5. Podcasts

Search for popular podcastsin your niche.

Hosts and frequent guests often have significant influence within their communities.

6. Analyze competitor collaborations

Study your competitors' influencer marketing strategies to identify which influencers they're working with, and consider reaching out to similar or complementary creators.

7. Outsource the process

Consider hiring a virtual assistant, specialized company, or influencer marketing agency to handle influencer research and outreach for you.

8. Engage in industry events

Participate in webinars, conferences, and trade shows related to your field.

These events often feature speakers and attendees who are influential in your industry.

    Great article.

I would add to start small if you are just beginning.

Big influencers won't want to work with you if you are a new brand/product.

So start small and approach bigger names once your product takes off.

Also smaller (niche) influencers can give you much higher ROI at a lower cost. They tend to have what Kevin Kelly calls '1000 true fans'. These are audiences that really connect with the creator.

Big names have just random followers so you will be overpaying.

We did it like this at my past company. Now bigger creators and companies (Adidas, Crocs, etc.) come to us for cooperation.

That's an impressive growth strategy David Park is using for Jenni! Influencer marketing is indeed powerful, and these tips are spot on for finding the right people to collaborate with. Leveraging existing networks and platforms makes the process smoother, while industry events and analyzing competitors provide excellent insights.

Also, on the topic of home improvement, it's interesting how influencer marketing can be applied in niches like heating, plumbing, or furnace maintenance. Engaging influencers in these areas can help reach homeowners and businesses looking for trusted solutions.

I haven't looked into the home improvement niche but I think you can use this strategy for almost anything.
