Your point, At https://handonboard.com we are doing something like Pocket but for porn. I want to give my users a VPN to be more anonymous

I think your users should take care of the VPN if they want to be anonymous, however, if you are insisted on your idea,

    • why do not you start with something small and buy some proxies, go with A/B testing, if this thing really works, then buy more proxies
    • ask for their feedback if they really want a VPN
    • i think your service will be better if you could stop requiring email for registration, you care for the anonymity of the user, but on the other hand, you destroy it.

      1. Proxies - I'm afraid that my users won't configure proxies as this is to complicated for them.
      2. Done. They want. They want to be safer during porn watching and surfing.
      3. I know, but I need an email to send them personal recommendations. Also, I want to do cloud version, for all devices. I need an email to verify users and let them reset their pass etc.

You can actually configure proxies with your extension

And will it work just with hit of a button?

yes, I think you should check for buying proxies, it will be cheaper and you can implement it to your own extension

A lot of vpn services out there like nordvpn or expressvpn can be active on multiple devices from a single license so you could make due with less. With so many you should probably write an email to get a special offer. I personally use nordvpn at home and its really cheap and one license is enough for all of my devices.

I'm sorry but I'm not sure I understand what you're trying to do... You want to buy licenses for your users?

At https://handonboard.com we are doing something like Pocket but for porn. I want to give my users a VPN to be more anonymus. For now we have about 1,5k active users. I'm afraid that I need about 1,5k VPN licences. I'm trying to solve this problem. But I do not know how to do it.

Doesn't sound like a good idea. Your product might gain more users at some point and you can't keep buying licenses for your users. Also most vpns cost a subscription so you'd have to pay a lot regardless. Some kind of partnership or affiliate program seems like a better option.

I know about it. We are going to develop subscription model in HOB. The problem is that we can charge about 1-3$/mo what is too small to buy VPN for each premium user.

A lot of our users want to be safer so VPN sounds like a good idea. Idea, not business as you see.

You have many options actually. There are VPN providers that limit users by bandwidth, not number of connections. You can also try to get anonymous dedicated proxies - they also offer bandwidth instead of connections in most cases.

Now the issue will be to know how much broadband you need. Most services offer 100Mbps (some will offer 1 Gbps, but you should assume it is 100Mbps, as they won't allow you to use that much). You could serve probably 25-50 users with that (you can try to throttle bandwidth through your own app). So for 1,000 users you would need probably 5-10 VPN's (only certain % will be online at the same time).

Thanks a lot! Could you please, name companies that sell VPN in bandwidth?

I have not used any by myself in a while, but you can check forums like BHW, or WaFo (Google it for links) - there are lots of providers there. Just buzz them and explain what you need. You might get 5 refusals, but eventually one of them will say yes. Just make sure to check the reviews beforehand.
