9.3k Brand Search Appearances, Mid 4-Figure Sponsor Deal - The Power of LinkedIn

While LinkedIn is not perfect and you have cringey takes from "gurus," it is a powerful tool in my opinion to generate awareness and income for side hustles or solopreneurs.

My website project Remote Work Junkie (https://remoteworkjunkie.com/), is going into its 6th month.

While Google takes time to recognize my site, LinkedIn has been a top driver of brand awareness, website traffic, and closing a sponsorship deal worth mid 4-figures (the person DM'd me directly after seeing the content all over his feed).

And the screenshot above show's 9.3k, the number of times a member completed a search that included my page name in the past seven days!

And the process I followed is fairly simple:

~ Post 5-6 days per week, consistently.
~Mix up the content (text only, images, video, links, memes, top lists where I can tag people or companies).
~Everyday, I spend 10 minutes commenting on relevant content from people and companies talking about things in remote work. This I found to be huge for driving more followers, now over 2.1k. on the company page. Avoid super fluffy comments, sometimes I mix a few in, but also try to add value.

Naturally, you still need a content strategy and to post/comment interesting things. But there is a real opportunity on LinkedIn to help build attention by showing up pretty much daily.

In total, I spend about 30 minutes on LinkedIn, which is worth the results and network I'm building for the brand.

Are you using LinkedIn (personal or company page) for your business or side hustle? What questions do you have for me where I could be helpful?
