I bought domain names for all these, didn't launch them or make them or do anything with them.
The Ideas
I've been researching a coffee bean company. From what I understand it's all in the marketing, there are hundreds of roasting companies - just need to find a niche and market - I think!
Yes you're right it's all in the marketing if you don't differentiate your product.
Yes there are a ton of roasting companies. I had thought of this while on a farm learning how to pick, process and roast coffee. Originally I had the intention of just getting off the computer and into nature for a few days.
And then come to find that of course COVID has destroyed the coffee business in Bali, but shipping.. could I ship a bag of coffee direct from the farm? Could I hand process it and roast it myself on the farm? The answer is yes but 1 kg ends up costing around $40 to $50 depending on how close to the front door we get, or if it's international small packages vs shipping a container to one country. (USA)
And to ease the time costs, I was going to presale 200 KGS, so I don't have to set up a fulfillment system as orders come in.
But yeah, maybe in 2021.
