90% of Indie Hackers fail alone. Here's what we're doing to change that

As the name "Solopreneur" suggests, we work alone.
But this is our biggest downfall
Because we win alone... and we lose alone

There's a research paper that showed that employees that had social support showed a significant increase in their motivation and performance

As Indie Hackers, we're no stranger to failure, but with each failure creates a snowball of demotivation, leading to eventually become the biggest threat to our journeys

That's why when I saw the post "Founder hours / Virtual Coffees" and the overwhelming number of comments of people that shared the same feeling, I knew that there was an issue here. That the key to this journey was finding the right people to succeed with

That's why I teamed up with Albert to create Foundermeetup.dev x Dailybot. A product geared towards Indie Hackers to find like minded people to work through this journey together.

As the truest form of the MVP, we created the IndieHackers Coffee Lounge that uses DailyBot's matching system to help Indie Hackers pair up and connect with others.

this is why communities like this and the Twitter indie space are so important

network with other founders, learn from them, and fail together!

some of the most famous people in this space have more failures than all of us, and it's important to remember that when facing hardships

Hard agree with this. The truth is, the best indie hackers out there have failed more times then most of us have even tried

I not necessarily people to do things together, but I usually need to share. So talking to people about their and my entrepreneur journeys, and learnings is a good idea.

I've been solo for nearly 2 years. It's hard. The only advantage is that you don't have to pay anyone.
