"The PR firm is recommending they post with PR Newswire for $1,100. They say it will help with SEO - would you recommend it for the cost?"
My $0.02 was it won't help unless it leads to real stories by press outlets. What do you think?
I'm with you. I think the amount of time spent researching, wondering about, asking about, waiting to hear back about, and securing one backlink from PR Newswire could have been spent seeking more media mentions and links from perfectly acceptable, credible sources.
