I'm looking for help on how to convert more customers. A year ago, I launched Discord Street, 4 months ago, I got my first paying customer. I am now growing more than ever; since I got my first customer I have had a 400% growth spike - but no conversions to the paid plan.
By the end of the year, I want the site to be sustainable, as I am currently still spending money on servers and services. But I just don't know how. I am going to be expanding my benefits shortly, but I'm afraid that work will be wasted.
I'd really appreciate some advice and guidance on this topic, as so far I've been really unsuccessful.
@Sam, There may be some tweaks needed on your business model. Are you tracking active usage of the product by free users who have signed up?
I agree with the previous poster - how do I pay for a service? How much is it? What value do I get for it?
The idea is interesting, and the look of the website is professional. You have clearly done a good job with it. My advice is to have a page that explains those things. Put more effort into onboarding before you expand other services. Good luck!
I've had a quick look (quick reference for others https://discord.st/).
Admittedly I'm not your target market, I used Discord to message my teen sons and am the member of one community/server. So please bear this in mind :)
I can't see how it makes money? Where do people go to become a paying customer? How can I find out where you are selling what you are selling?
Who are the free customers that are signing up? Is there a way to convert them into paying customers? Do you have some way to communicate with them to encourage them to sign up? Are there any potential customers that you could give a custom 'hand holding' service to get them on board?
