I'm using Paddle for https://www.checkbot.io/ if you've got any questions. I prototyped with Fastspring originally. Compared to Paddle, Fastspring have more features, have a self-service portal and their API is much more flexible. Paddle is cheaper per transaction though. Gumroad is worth considering as well if your reason to pick Fastspring is to avoid handling EU tax yourself.

Btw why you charge quarterly instead monthly on checkbot.io ?
To be honest, the API is lacking features and documentation which makes it much harder to integrate than it should. They're cheaper than Fastspring though and it seems more flexible than Gumroad, and I like that I don't have to think about country specific tax.
Can you share your experience with Paddle also? I don't recall seeing a lot of bad reviews when I looked.
For quarterly:
I want people that just purchased to give it some time to make a decision about renewals instead of it being on their mind just weeks after purchasing.
Less invoices and less cancellations means less admin for me.
I think monthly would be too cheap for the immediate value the product gives you.
Yeah,paddle.com was good enough for me. I using it for client project, and they never complain about it.
But I was a bit scary when I see a bad review, and yesterday I hear about fastspring.com and their review better than paddle.com

We've considered switching for their "Intelligent Payment Routing" as we are a UK business and see a lot of declined payments from the US and this would appear to resolve some of those issues.
What are you using before?
We are using the UK Paypal Website Payments Pro product, which is becoming harder and harder to support. We will be switching away from it soon but need to look at the best options open to us.

Tried it, their service felt seriously outdated, weird XML errors during demo. Couldn’t find button to remove my account. Took them four days to remove it when I asked them to. Then I still got a newsletter. It’s a mess.
