How we got feedback for our product

Hello fellow hackers! I've written a blogpost about the steps we took towards understanding our potential users @ Ambissues. Nothing too innovative in there, just an enumeration of actions, reactions and results of our approach.

This whole process resulted in around 200 collected emails over the course of 3 months and some very valuable bits of inside knowledge regarding how Product Managers work.

Feel free to read it and ask questions! Any kind of feedback is appreciated and invaluable to us!
