Most Influential book you've ever read & why?

The Tao Te Ching was like a multiplier for all the good things in my life. I have a feeling that it will be one of, if not the, most influential book I'll ever read – helping me across everything from business to health and happiness.

Each of the following books has also been transformative:

• The Fountainhead helped me build confidence in myself and my products.
• The 4 Hour Workweek taught me that I wasn't crazy for believing in systems thinking, business automation, etc.
• The Slight Edge helped me cultivate day-to-day discipline.
• The Four Agreements helped me target the opportunities I really wanted.
• Total Recall gave me tons of motivation and helped me target more opportunities.
• Principles helped me hone in on systems thinking.

The 7 habits of highly effective people is a book that really changed the way I see the world, myself and other people. You can apply the ideas of this book for every aspect of your life and not just business.

It's probably Poor Charlie's Almanack, especially if we're talking business books. It has a high density of insightful advice that cuts across disciplines and will be extremely useful to you in both life and business. It also led me to some other great books and authors in the field of psychology that I found fascinating.

Please take a look this book “The Third Door” by Alex Banayan. I mean it’s a unique book I’ve ever read. The author spend 7 years to reach out the world class people in such industry like: tech, music, bio, entertainment etc... He interview people like Bill gates, Lady Gaga, Bisnow etc... trying to figure out how these people start their career... I mean it’s incridible, It makes you think everything is possible after you reading each chaper. Highly recommend:)

This is such a loaded question. Long-term, the Bible has been most influential on me. Short term, I think:

• Zero to One (https://www.amazon.com/Zero-One-Notes-Startups-Future/dp/0804139296) contained a ton in it which challenged me deeply
• Play Bigger (https://www.amazon.com/Play-Bigger-Dreamers-Innovators-Dominate/dp/0062407619) scores top on most influential. Describing category creation, and category kings.. which I REALLY would like to be someday :)

The book "Reinventing Organizations" by Frederic Laloux. About 4 years ago it started a process of changes. It's still going.

So far its "Screw it lets do it" by Richard Branson, mostly for one of the key messages he espouses wrapped up in this particular quote

“But whatever your dream is, go for it. Always beware if the risks are too random or too hard to predict, but remember, if you opt for a safe life, you will never know what it’s like to win.”— Sir Richard Branson

Also currently reading Shoe Dog by Phil Knight (Nike Founder) and This is Marketing by Set Godin, both of which I'm enjoying immensely.
