A Chrome extension to create polished product promos in minutes

I've spent the last several years building a product that didn't succeed. Like many of us. :-) However, I learned a lot and became a better developer. And one thing I learned, is how important it is to have great content to promote your product – something I never made the time to properly do.

What is Sitestage
It's a Chrome extension that creates polished interactive product demos for you. By clicking through your site/app, it records your screen. And it gives you a beautiful demo that can be embedded right onto your marketing site.
I think this might be useful for many hackers over here. Because creating quality content takes a lot of time/money. Whether you're fiddling around in video editors or hiring an expensive freelancer. At least for me it also took away a lot of focus from building the actual product.
How it works:
- Hit record
- Click around your site or app
- Stop record.
- A new tab opens – here you can edit settings to make it look even better.
- Use a link to share.
Features
- 🔎 It auto-zooms your cursor area into focus, so people see what you're demoing.
- 🧑🏼💻 It allows you to wrap your demo inside a device frame, a desktop or phone.
- 🌄 You can pick a beautiful gradient or color from a range of colors that are automatically generated from the recorded screenshots.
- 🎮 You can turn it into a game by making people interactively click through the demo.
